1st Post Daytona Question

Hello all 1st post, long time watch guy, new member. I have a question, I have the opportunity to pick up a 2006 black face Daytona for 9300 and my 116233. Opinions if this is a good deal? Thanks and happy holidays!

I have a box for the 116233 no papers. The Daytona is from an AD box but no papers. I will post pics tomorrow. 116233 was serviced in 2014 has roman numeral white face TT. Honestly a 8 condition. Not a safe queen at all.

The numbers are not right. Also, find an example that is complete with the box and papers.

poor poor deal. Please do not do that. You will get a great Daytona SS for a little more cash than that figure.

You can just add a 10 year old Daytona for not much more than $9300,

Basically the Daytona would be 11500 and 2200 for my 116233. I feel like I was trying to be taken advantage of

who offered you this "deal"?

by my estimation youd be over paying by at least $5k. keep your 116233 and offer him 9500 for the daytona.

If you tried hard enough, you can probably find one for just under 10k. You're practically throwing away the 116233 in the trash. That is a terrible deal and you should let the seller know he's a bad person.
