First Time RSC

kinda curious whats the price for full service currently?

I think mine is due for one since I bought an explorer in 2011. I let it sit in my winder watch box and it quits running and i wind it the 40 times every two days. Its just been not holding power as well I assume.

My watch.

I'd be surprised if it needed service.

The winder is not going to wind your watch. If it is set properly it should keep it wound. If you gave it a full wind and it loses it on the winder either your winder is not set right, or it may be time for a service.

Give it a full wind and don't put it on the winder, check when it runs down. Typically around 40 hrs.

Might be time for a new winder or a look at the settings on the winder. Why not wear the watch for 3-4 days and see if there are any timing issues.

How can it be time for service already? These watches shouldn't need service that often

It does not hold reserve power. I did the full wind and it barely made it over night wearing it while i sleep. I bought it in 2011 so I assume its just a screw loose according to some form posts a few years ago.

Different watch but this happened to my omega PO after 10 years so service will fix it. I'm hoping my subc date won't need a service until 2026. Haha cheers
