Don't listen to your friend. To some people, any gold watch is an old man's watch.

It looks awesome on you, go get it!

Wearing a big YG tool, watch is quite a statement. I would go with the black face as I think it clashes less. But it still remains a big YG piece. Personally I would go with the WG brother, but if it has to be YG I'd look at a DD or even a sky dweller, that suits the color better for my taste.

It looks great on you. Green dial is more unique compare to black dial.

It was cool, but I got over it.
If you want a sport YG go with the Blue Sub. (Or YG YM II if you can swing it)

I'm personally not a fan of the green dial with the solid gold GMT. I would personally rather go for a solid gold sub in either blue or black, but if I had to get a YG GMT I would go with the black dial as (IMO) it looks more classy.

If I had to get a precious metal GMT it would be the BLRO hands down! All that matters is what you like and what makes you smile. However, you said the green of the LV made you flip it after 6 months, this might be the same case if you get sick of the green dial (although it's not AS in your face as the LV)

Personally, I don't buy into the 'too flashy' or 'it would suit an older person' rhetoric. If you really like something, then wear it with pride

Life's too short to be worrying what others think.

I'm not a fan of the YG GMT with green dial. I don't dislike it but I'd leave it behind in a zombie apocalypse.

I'd advise a little caution with this one given that you couldn't get on with the Sub LVc, which is my go to watch in the event of a zombie apocalypse. It's a different green but green nonetheless.

If you're jonesing for a YG sports watch then, perhaps try a Sub instead. In fact, you could save 30% and buy Josh's watch from the For Sale section. He's only had it for a few hours.

Good luck

Although I went with the black dial, I would have no problem with versatility of the green. The only concern is that you flipped your LVC because of the green.

It has always been on my short list but I am unsure whether I would get tired of the green dial. It is very stunning in person!

Beautiful watch! Lots of green, just make sure you are good with it. I found it much easier to wear than my LVc though. The bezel does tone it down as mentioned already.

I think that it comes down to how much you like the green and how long will you like it. I owned the black dial YG GMT and it was a cool watch. Flipped it after a short time and went to a YG Sub. I prefer the Sub as you get the glidelock bracelet and I do not need the GMT function. If you decide to get this watch you should buy pre-owned as a flip will be costly, even if used. No wrong answer and if you want to have some fun give it a try. I would go YG Sub, either black or blue, and be done. That is until I wanted something else.

Honestly Rick, versatile? Maybe not. Hot?! Yes!

This is the first ceramic that I ever saw. Years and years ago when it first came out at my now out of business AD. Z serial Green dial GMT II C.

I tried it on maybe 15 times, but just could not see myself wearing it daily. Especially around some of my friends. Just some of my friends cannot fathom that I spend $ 6,000 on a watch let alone 20 plus.

It sat in my ADs display case until the day that they went out of business.

I saw one a few years ago used in Osaka for about $17,000 US. Wish I had bought it kind of at that price.

So I guess what I'm saying is if you've got the dough or get one at a deal you can't say no to then yes. Its a super hot watch.

Daily versatile wearer. Not feeling that.

Versatile? Hell yeah...
As you're in the financial investing sector, it is a definite tool of the trade. Good for those one-liners when your advice is being questioned - "You see this watch? The color of money - money that will be pouring into your portfolio and solid as gold."

It also should be tax deductible - you need it to know when the Asian markets open and close to cover positions in the Western markets.

You know you want it so pull the trigger!

It's a nice watch for sure, but I can't help thinking it's a bit Wimbledon Lawn Tennis?

None the less, it is striking and classy in a good way.

imop, thats a nicer heavy gmt than the BLRO (for the money). green is synonymous with special rolexeses -- more so than baby/ice blue which is more associated with Tiffany & Co..

i think its also more you and you could carry it off with confidence.

besides, you can always flip it.

You buddy's just jealous of it. No way it's an old man's watch. It's a 40mm Rolex sports watch with a great color combo. He likely said that because it's gold, but I see plenty of people wearing gold sporty watches that look great from AP to Rolex and all of them look great.

I say pull the trigger.

Personally, 116718LN is the GMT.
Save the green dial for a gold daytona 116508.

I too had a hulk and sold it after a year or so. It's not that it clashed with everything, but that it went with nothing except a green shirt. I think the gold and the more subdued green on this one is better.

Is that a Panamera I see peeking out in the avatar? I had one of those too, and sold it after a year. Hmmmm... a pattern?

Not my favorite YG watch. Something about the bright gold, green, and black that just doesn't do it for me.

You asked for an honest opinion, i think i looks far too top heavy on you because the combination of green and gold are shouting out, your other watches look fine but that looks too big. Sorry.
