Rolex travel pouch

I usually wear my watches but occasionally - especially when away from home - I refrain from exposing it to "dangerous" activities.

In those rare cases the watch ends up usually in a zippered coat pocket, or a sunglasses hard case before placing it in the hotel room's safe.

I thought about getting some kind of specialized watch case but I kept postponing it until today.

My AD sent the tags I left in the store upon delivery and was kind enough to throw in a travel pouch that had delivered just a couple of weeks ago.

Nothing fancy obvioulsy but it is an Original Rolex SA accessory (see part number in photos) and it gets the job done!

A quick google search reveals these pouches have been around for quite some time, but she said a new batch just came in. Get them while they last guys!

A little light reading there??

Those pouches are great. My watches have come back from RSC service with them, too. A bonus

Not to be a drag, but there're tons of information here regarding hotel room safes and their lack of security
I'd swear someone posted a link showing the safe being opened with a magnet

Perhaps better to keep that beautiful BLNR on your wrist or on your person?

These pouches are great, I use them all the time and especially when traveling and going through the security. NYC RSC gave me a pouch last time I had my bracelet adjusted there, but they did not give me the insert. They said they do not have them anymore. When I got home I called them back and they found one and mailed it to me. Pouch without the insert is kinda useless. However, happy ending for me after all.

Cool pouch. I'm more of a wear it like you stole it kind of guy.
If you're trying to keep the band pristine maybe put it on rubber during your "dangerous" activities

I have several little green Rolex pouches a well. I store my watches in a bank safety deposit box, and I find these handy to keep them in.

I was looking at these casebuddi cases on amazon. According to a review the standard medium sized case is too large and our 40mm watches rattle in there. I might place an order to try one of these too - should I go for the small one?

Nice .. I use the Casebudi it seems the small works better than the standard fo the 40mm watches. Standard on the left with the BLNR and small on the right with the Sub-C.

I understand that those small safes are not bank grade equipment but I did not realize they are that unsafe. Do you mean that housekeepers routinely open them up when locked to check for valuable contents?

Cool, I have a couple of these, they come when your watch returns from RSC. My latest came when my 10614 came back

I never leave anything more valuable than my cell charger in the room safe
And that's more to prevent me from misplacing it

There are horror stories about room safes on TRF.
I'll post a link if I can figure out how to do that.

Depending on the hotel, they should have a dedicated Hotel Safe/Safe Deposit boxes at the front desk. The best choice IMHO

Mr Locksmith video on YouTube shows how easy it is to open an electronic safe

And no, I don't think staff routinely open them. I just hate to tempt fate.

Ok, this makes me angry. I've gotten 2 of these pouches now from my AD and neither has the card that goes on the inside of the watch with them. That's why I have not used them. Don't want the bracelet scratching the back of the watch. Grrrr.

Of all the travel pouches I have seen and own, this is the best. No chance for the watch to move around while in transit.

Nice little Rolex travel case! Not sure I would use them for travel actually since it's like flashing neon to alert everyone to what's inside. Probably would use something plain looking. Nice case though and wish I had a few for storage purposes. Cheers!
