Loose Bracelet

This is probably a stupid question, but...whenever the clasp on my steel Jubilee bracelet feels loose I bend in the little corners with needle-nose pliers. Is this acceptable or some form of Rolex apostasy?

Not a good idea if you do it repeatedly. Gently bending one blade of the clasp, while flattening the other does wonders. It varies from clasp to clasp, and you can fiddle with yours till it's just right.

The tabs have to be adjusted at some point anyway. They become so flattened with use they won't hold no matter how much you fiddle with the blades. That's why the cuts are there. Be careful, if you bend too much it can be very difficult to open.
