DJ II Oyster Bracelet SWAP to New SS Jubilee

What does the group think?

Do you all think it will be possible to purchase the New SS Jubilee for my DJ II 116334?

Does Rolex make these available for purchase separately? Would I be voiding any kind of warranty or causing any other issues?

I like my Oyster bracelet and LOVE my watch but I also really like the Jubilee bracelet... it really dresses up the watch nicely.

Not possible. Looked into it once and it's a dead end. You could look into leather/crocodile/ rubber straps made for the dj2 though

It will be a Franken-watch. If you want that combo, sell the existing and buy the correct set up from new.

Wow, sorry nobody has it together to help you out.

Of course you can put a jubilee bracelet on that watch, you just need to ensure there is no conflict with the spring bars.

As an example, many people who are too cool for school take their BLNR off the scratch magnet PCL oyster and put it on the super jubilee. You need to have the special spring bars that are different than the oyster uses.

Frankenwatch? Not even close.

Sorry, can't answer your question but there are many members here that have mixed and matched bracelets, per Blue Lume's example, including me.

Hope you can find your answer and ultimate combo, critics be damned.

We need to find out if the jubilee is 21mm wide as the DJ2 is between the lugs... I want to do the same thing :-)

The jubilee is 20mm and the lugs are 21mm.

"The lug width of the DJ2 is 21 mm - not the standard 20 mm..............and I don't believe that the Super Jubilee has been manufactured in the 21 mm lug width yet."- JJ
You would have to get a dj41 jubilee bracelet and at that point it would be a better choice just to get that watch. Still a chance if it fits without modifications.

Yeah sorry. Total pureist.

Perhaps frankenwatch is a little strong but unless it comes out of the box like that, I don't like mixing it up.

Jubilee is so sweet. It's classic Rolex. I think it's a great choice.
