Sky Dweller in Stainless?

Does the addition of a stainless and a two tone model push you to adding one to your collection?

Personally for me I'm now lusting after the Stainless.

The stick dial does it for me and the stainless offering makes it attainable grail territory *one day*for me!

Yes, most definitely. But I'm not getting on a list just yet, going to wait and see what demand looks like and if any discounts are available from either ADs or TSs. But I've wanted a SkyD for a while now and the SS/two-tone options brings it into my price range.

I loved the Sky Dweller since it's launch, but can't afford a precious metal watch and don't like them either. In stainless steel I want one, but will wait and see what the used market will do.

I can see myself buying a gently used one in a couple years after everything settles down.

This is what I was thinking as well. That blue dial looks amazing in pictures, and the SD is finally (more) obtainable now that it's not PM.

Didn't see this option...
"No, b/c I already have in PM."
For the SkyD, I prefer the weight and aesthetics of YG, not to mention I also like the silver dial with romans and contrasting GMT wheel better than the sticks of SS/TT. I am bummed that it didn't stay PM only, but every Rolex watch offered in PM is usually offered in SS, with the exception of the DD, which in that case you have plenty of DJs to pick from.

There needs to be a "waiting to see it in person" option.

But let's just say my BLNR is nervous right now, and I love my BLNR.

Can't afford a PM watch? You have 10 Rolexes in your sig.

I can't wait to see them in person, hopefully the blue is the same color as the blue on the YM dial.

I appreciate the movement and what the watch has to offer, but for me I gravitate toward simple easy to read dials.

Unfortunately, I fear I would tire of the Sky Dweller.

I will definitely be searching for a used one in a few years. I'm torn between the blue and the white dials though. Good thing I don't have to choose now!

I used to really love the SkyDweller, but now feel like it is too big and flashy for me personally.... still the stainless option definitely is interesting. If I were in the market for a DJ, I would be hard pressed not to save up a bit more for the SkyDweller.

I'll say, I want one, since I still love the design of it, but not really in the market for that style of watch right now.

I phoned my AD with a firm order for the SS Sky-Dweller with blue dial within an hour of the watch appearing on the Rolex web site, I'm number 12 on the list!!!

Is the quota about 2 per colour per month per AD? So there are Daytona C vibes all over. I am also on waiting list with Sky Dweller blue, second place so i should get it.

Love the Skydweller over the old and new Seadweller!

What thickness is the Skydweller? Can't find it on the Rolex website.

Why shouldn't you get a Skydweller? Because if you wear one it will always be August 28!

I REALLY like it but am not sure I would pull the trigger. Just so many others that I would want more. So really have to see it first.
