Speedy Pro Question

Hi folks, I have a 3890. Speedy and it 28 years old. Apollo XI anniversary version. Here lately I've noticed it takes 400-500 turns to completely wind the watch. Wound it yesterday and when I retrieved it this afternoon it had completely stopped. (Less than 24 hours)

Anyone else have this problem? Time for service? It is one of my favorite watches that gets more wrist time than any other, the turns to wind the watch really bugs me. Thoughts and thanks in advance! Al

I'd say that's a problem hah......time for a service for sure. You should really be winding it around 40-50 turns before the crown stops completely and the power reserve should be around 48 hours.

Thanks, talking it to Omega dealer tomorrow morning to be sent off. Will make sure to keep the dial and hands original. Appreciate the help! :) AL
