Rolex Datejust

Hello all,

I have been following the forum for a while as I search for my first Rolex.

I am considering buying this Datejust from a local jeweler. He has sent a few pics and wanted your opinion. Thanks!

*edit - I am curious about it because it has been worn before, so no stickers but he does have the box and warranty card. Thanks again!

The clasp photos are not the best quality but the rehault looks good. I have this exact watch and everything looks good from what i can see but i would like to see a more crisp shot of the clasp. Also what is the serial number of the watch and what is he asking?

It is a random serial with a warranty card dated 03/2016 and is offered at $6,000.

Thanks for taking a look and your opinions. Much appreciated!

I purchased the same watch (blue dial/sticks), here from one of our trusted sellers for about $800 less with all the papers, boxes, and warranty + no tax. Your guy is asking to much IMO.

All looks good to me,to me its not a bad deal but not a good deal at that price. As a previous member posted he saved $800 over that price, i usually see these brand new and stickered with warranty card in your name at around $6500, i purchased the exact same watch, z serial 06-07 with box and papers from a trusted seller for $4300. If you could get it for $5500 i would say you did well but good luck!.

I have the same watch (beautiful in my opinion). If the watch sings to you, get it. I am willing to pay a "good" price at a local business even if it is not the "best" price on the internet.

Thanks for your thoughts on authenticity and pricing. BTW, the watch does sing to me...

True about the price and I think it is fair starting point to negotiate a little before committing.

This forum and its members are awesome. Thanks again!
