Lost and Not Found.......SAD, So Sad

A few weeks ago, I lost my Mont Blanc ballpoint pen. I had owned since the late 1980s. I cannot believe I lost if after all these years. I had hoped it would turn up as I was going to gift it to my youngest son at his college graduation in two years.

Oh well, I thought I would seek comfort from my TRF friends.

Bummer, I've had mine for around 17 years, I know how you can get attached. Good luck on finding it!

Do you carry it with you? Maybe it fell off in your car and went into a crevasse? Or maybe someone at work "borrowed" it? You could try asking around.

Have you been able to narrow down the last time you saw it? At home or at work?

Sorry to hear about losing the Mont Blanc

I recently lost mine too. A gift I received in 1999 and used every day since.

I was using it on the train to Boston but didn't realize it was gone until I was checking into my hotel.

Don't give up hope. I lost my iPod for a year and one day I found it sitting on the bookshelf on top of some books. I lost my glasses and one day weeks later found them. Things are not always lost.
And if it is never found, just send a mental note of thanks and gratitude for time well spent and let it go.

That sucks. Funny this thread came up. I lost my MontBanc about 3 weeks ago. Had it for years. Hoping it shows up.

I found a MB pen once in a cruise room safe (should be easily traced) and turned it over to the concierge. Hopefully the original owner received it.

I know this is not helping you but you never know, maybe yours will be returned to you.

Interesting enough I lost my MB ballpoint last week as well . I used it day in and day out for 16 years. I've "lost" it many times over the years but it always found its way back. Not this time I'm afraid.

Four lost MB pens in the last couple weeks in this thread. Seems like something mysterious is going on.

I lost my old MB Ballpoint Classique for a long time.

Drycleaner found it.

It had slipped through a hole in an inside jacket pocket and fallen down to the bottom of the jacket inside the lining.
NEVER give up.......

I am truly impressed you had it since the 1980's and hope you are able to find it. This is exactly why I have never bought a nice pen. I have already miss placed the pen I started the day with. Every other month I order a bulk supply of Zebra F301s and hope like hell they'll last two months. Good luck.

Hope yours turns up but a new pen will make a wonderful gift, as well.

Thats truly awful news.

Trust me - people on here 'get it' and feel your pain.

I've bought MB's for my son too.

May I suggest you inform MB of serial number etc incase it turns up there?

Mine seem to get "misplaced" every now and again. Will find in a suit coat or between the car seats etc. but they always have a way of turning up.

Keep the faith.
