Seven rare Rolex's going up for auction. one model expected to fetch 1.5 million

Didn't know if anybody saw or posted this, but I found it pretty interesting.

I have so much to learn. Truth is if I saw some of these in a pawn shop in this condition, I would guess them to be worthless and worth a few grand at best.

Some lovely watches for one lucky person, but they still have a Loooooong way to go to beat the Bulova at auction.

Why won't Rolex offer a triple calendar with or without moonphase now ? Clearly they had the ability to make one 60+ years ago. That's a good looking watch and I think it would sell. Or have they ceded that market to Patek ?

After lunch today a friend and I were talking about this very type of thing. He'd asked me about how certain Rolex increase in value and what were some of the really appreciated watches worth. I just copied him this article.
Great find and thanks for sharing!
