My sister's watch has been stolen in Spain

My sister went to Spain last week, while she was getting on the bus.
The white man with white t-shirt and blue pant grab her hand and pull the Patek Philippe 7130r from her hand very hard.
She quite shock and call for help but no know can catch the thief.

Now we have the warranty card and receipt from store.
The watch bought on 2018 Jan.We have S/N
We need help or any suggestion .
I've attached the police report.
What should we do ?

Thanks

File an insurance claim and get a new one....

Post the SN on here and everyone can keep an eye out if it pops up for sale somewhere.

Sorry to hear this. Spain has always been such a fun place to visit with beautiful people.
I have always worn crown collection pieces over there with no problem.

Awful thing to go through, hopefully your sister is OK, and hopefully you had it covered by insurance.

Sincerely such a shame hearing this. What city did it happen in?

Most insurance policies do cover theft, but it sounds like that is advice discussed too late.

Very sorry to hear this, and hope your sister is ok.

Definitely report the watch stolen to Patek. If it is ever sent in for service, they will send it back to her.

I've heard too many of these stories. So many opportunistic people who wants to make a quick buck. Sorry to hear about it!

I stick to cabs in Spain. I rather pay the extra premium than mingling in a crowded area such as a bus or metro/train. That being said I roll down my sleeves too and if I go out at night time I'll leave the watch in the safe-box.

...That's also because I have no insurance on my watches.

Very sorry to hear about this... what really gets me is how consequence free these thefts now are, that they are so brazen... makes me almost want one of these worthless chancers to have a go at mine.

Sorry to hear that, especially since it sounds like it isn’t insured. Your sister would have had to be paying for a rider on, say her homeowners policy, or for a separate policy that named that watch as a covered item.

Horrible, but she is safe and that's what is most important. The watch can be replaced.

Very sorry to hear about this. Seems almost daily across forums we see more and more victims of theft. Such a damn shame! I would (aside from the usually insurance claims) file your stolen ref with the Art Loss Register.
