Thank you,
I was going to say Hublot but that would be a bit obvious and unfair to Ferrari. Obvious in that Hublot does make watches for Ferrari. Unfair in that Hublot spun off AP’s design with Jean Claude Biver, while Ferrari is one of the top brands in the world.
Nevertheless, the design and relations make Hublot “racy.”

Congrats!

It’s a great watch. Got mine over one and half months ago and have been wearing it almost everyday. My other watches feel neglected and rightly so, but it speaks how amazing watch the 5990 is.

It was easy to say 'Noooooooo!!', now I need to think of a good suggestion.

Well when we are talking CS, SCUD, 16M, Speciale, SA and Pista I would suggest the piece needs to be devoid of lots additional features, clear of purpose and always exhilarating. I won't go with a single brand but perhaps suggest a split second chronograph from any of the top manufacturers - my personal overwhelming favourite is the PP 5370P and my second choice would be ALS Double Split/Triple Split (possibly the ALS pieces don't quite conform as perfectly to the compact/lightweight criteria of the cars).

This is actually an excellent suggestion! I agree that ALS would be an excellent representation for Ferrari....the movement/engine is absolutely stellar. The designs are somewhat conservative but some are groundbreaking. Ironically, it is German engineering at its finest...

Congrats looks awesome!

Thank you all I’m still enamored by he 5990. I’m awestruck at the simplicity of its design and symmetry along with the complexity of its movement.

I literally plan my attire around this watch to wear it more frequently. But I wear it with everything from formal to casual wear.

Sorry to say it mate but it looks too big for your wrist....what you should probably do is get rid of it pretty quickly and at a hugely discounted price. Haha
Na, looks killer. Congrats
