I’ve never heard of pan-pie, but OTOH — Is there any common term for dials shaped similarly to pie-pan dials, but which are concave rather than convex?

Thanks! Rolex smooth bezels (1600) are getable, and not that expensive. And despite what I read, I was able to quite easily swap the bezels myself with a little patience and care. In some ways, it was easier than changing inserts on old Subs and GMTs.

I wouldn't even attempt that myself the way insert prices are now. It would be like trying to do your own dentistry. You really have to know what you're doing to not end up with a cracked insert.
