My 100th post and it involves a caliper and whisky!

100 deep and then let’s celebrate a bit! Went in to the whisky cabinet and pulled out some single malt whisky’s (minus the Nikka one from Japan which is blended) from 6 different countries. Mostly sherry cask matured....and then some watches from the collection which will be targeted for the newly acquired caliper...quite nerdy I must admit : )

The whisky spread...Millstone Dutch whisky, Nikka from the barrel from Japan, BOX Quercus 1 from Sweden, Balcones, Texas single malt from the US, James Eadie in collab with Mannochmore distillery from Scotland, Kavalan Sherry cask from Taiwan:

1675, 1625, 1601 and 1803...

The 1803 standing strong at 35,9mm, 12,2mm height:

Moving on to the 1601 which has the same case dimensions but another height, due to not having the day complication...

Let’s get sportier and look at the 1675, mentioned to be 39,5mm but my 1675, mark IV from 1977 sits at 39,3mm...

Lastly we have the 1625 TOG with slate dial...sleeker case compared to 1601...at 11.4mm

Oops, wifey went by my set-up and thought I lost it : )...I made a hostile take over of her 6694 and measured it : )...

Enjoy!!

Awesome! Love that Kavalan.

If you celebrate like this for a 100th post, your birthday parties must be amazing.

Yeah! Celebrating is important in life! The Kavalan is just one of the best Sherry casks I ever tried. Also amazed how good the Texas single malt is, highly recommended!

Good to see you are using plastic digital callipers.
