So Dalip mate I know you'll have many many friends & family members to see while you're over, so may I suggest that you propose a date when you have your 'itinerary' worked out?

That way we're not 'imposing' on your families schedule if that makes any sense?

Alternatively of course We the Mighty of The Great TRF could enforce a date & make every other poor sod fit round us....??

Either way I'll be there (on any & every occasion!! ) & Dalip mate I am gonna get you sooooooooooooooooooooo mashed.......

Soooooo looking forward to this:

Ok..what about the first weekend in July (perhaps Saturday 2nd July)- That will suit me Dan...Are we going for a Saturday /afternoon eve? I suggest starting early

What do we think

Hey you're coming all the way from Australia. Bear in mind that flying from the east coast to England is probably not much farther than flying from Perth to Melbourne. Besides, I havnt been to London since I was a kid and from there it's a hop skip and jump over to Duesseldorf (where my family is).

I figure I have better odds making it to london vs Perth. Just let me know when the meet is happening and i'll know if I can make it as the date draws closer....

All things aside, I'd love to go, but I never know what I'm doing next month, let alone in July...

Dalip, first weekend of July would probably be the best for me.... unless there is a "change of plan"

let me tell ya Chris, Heathrow has changed quite a bit since you last visited... BA will fly from London to NY from T5. T5 is the newest terminal and it is simply "the better one"

Early July would probably be a little easier for me as well as we'll be moving again in august.

When I said I haven't been to London since I was a kid, I wasn't including the airport. I visit heathrow once or twice a year. T5 has made it a lot better than it was before. At least this time around I'll have currency that is actually accepted. I must say that nowadays I'd put heathrow on the same level of discomfort as Frankfurt, but will take Munich or amsterdam over those two any day...
