Pam 183 vs 111

Hey guys.

I need your thoughts on these watches so that I can purchase one of them with confidence.

I guess I thought a lot about these watches and now I can't decide which one is right one for me.

Currently I have 312 but I feel like I need another PAM.

They are pretty much similar as you know, but rad vs lum.. I guess..

Please advise me to choose right one if you have any thoughts.

Thank you!!

If you already have the 312, I'd go for the 183 since it's a RAD. I owned a 190 and loved the hell out of it...

I agree with Bryan. The 111 is excellent but too similar to your 312 when compared to the 183. Black Seal all the way.

I just got the 183 and love it....so I go 183. Love the style, shape, feel of the rad! Good luck!

111 is you want to share straps amount the 2

for 183, you would have to buy a whole new lot of straps .. LOL

but 183 does give you more variety

maybe try a 113 so that you have a luminor case and a different dial

+1 ...I am with Bryan...

and if you get the 190 we have the same PAM collection..

but really..the 183 would round out your collection..unless you are in need a different case with the crown guard...

I'm not a huge fan of Radiomirs (yet), but even I would steer you towards the 183 if you already have a 312.

The 183 would compliment your 312 perfectly, go for it. I am wearing my 183 right now and every time I put it on, I realise how awesome it is, I love Rads.

Correction - if you need an 8 day movement and want a PAM my selection would be either of these two:

268

190

Cheers,

Eric

If you like the 183, take a look at the 287 also. I had one and really liked that it had a date and was automatic.

Ditto that!

Plus, if you want an in-house movement then definitely the 268.

Modified JLC movement...190 all the way

As a 312 owner who has just got a 183, I could not be happier with my new addition. It really compliments the 312. You will surprised at how different in feel they are, and different they 'wear'.

Whatever choice you make, youre going to end up with a stunning piece, but im delighted to own a 312 and 183.......

Agree with a rad to compliment the 312. Unless ofcourse you prefer variety in which case, something completely different from another brand. No flames from the Paneristis purists please : )

Man, that's a hard choice. I love the luminors, but the 183 is stunning. I've almost pulled the trigger a couple of times on one, but other watches got in the way.

I'll go with the majority here and say 183.

Since you already have a 312, I think the 111 is too similar.
With that in mind, I'd go with the 183 or perhaps a 287.
The Black Seal is an important reference in Panerai history.

Makes me feel all the better for getting one Mike!

I am loving the 183. Has not left my wrist. And winding it is a joy I had not expected!
