I was thinking the same thing Manny, which means don't do it!

Any investment I agree with must be doomed!!

Did you know there was a whiskey fund Manny, it's mostly all Scotch obviously but considering the price of collectable Scotch lately I've benn considering it. Problem is that the folks running the fund don't really have an on staff expert so actual Scotch collectors aren't investing but if that changes I am jumping in!

It's had the snot beat out of it since early 2011 when it hit $50 an ounce, I'm not sure what the future holds for it but it has way more upside than downside and that's never a bad thing. I'm assuming you'd use SLV to buy it..?

Yes I would. Im strongly considering it. Especially since I would plan on holding it for a long while unless it starts going crazy

Thanks for these...been looking for some good dividend stocks

I started buying silver coins once it hit $20. I like holding the physical silver better than stocks in silver

Buy Sprint (S) on any dips. New CEO, new culture, new strategy. 80% owned by Softbank.

Most that I have read has it fairly valued at $90-95 where it is now. I would wait and buy options next week, maybe January 95's....

I think Alibaba will be a great long term investment but I would wait until the market has a correction or the shares pullback after the initial frenzy.

Agree....buying in the 90s right now is probably just helping pay for the colleges of the kids who got friends and family stock at 68.

Anyone here hoping for a pull back? I'm finding it hard to find stocks with enough upside to invest in. The agriculture sector looks in particular Deere (DE) at 82ish has enough upside but the're projected slower sales. Any thoughts?

I think we'll see some sideways in here but be higher by years end. GDP for the 2nd quarter was revised higher again to 4.6%, the Fed is obviously going to be dovish unless GDP explodes and we post +300k jobs consecutive months in a row. Plus, the 4th quarter is almost always positive for stocks....

On the negative side is geo-political worries around the world and slowdowns in Europe and China. Throw in mid-term elections here and there's enough uncertainty to keep things in perspective but I think we'll add 4-6% onto the S&P 500 to finish the year in the low teens...

I have heard pork bellies have been limited in supply local from a friend who makes his own bacon and other supplies.

I can't believe this GPRO. I bought it the end of August for 50.00 and it's freakin gone nuts.
As soon as hits 100 I'm out. I'm sure other companies are going to release a similar product
In the next few months.

Maybe just pull out the profits instead

How far do you think it will go?
Do you think it will still run up till Christmas?

Any other gems for those of us that are late(as always)to the party?

Thinking about TSLA and BABA for buy and hold. Wish TSLA dropped more today. Think it's too late to get in?

Seeking Alpha, which is free, is the only website you will need.
