Cartier 1840 Tank 18K

Seriously considering buying the Cartier 1840 . 18K Tank Large Automatic , watch is just a stunner . I know more than anyone it doesn’t have the best movement which is why I haven’t pulled the trigger yet but aesthetically it’s perfect . Would it be unwise to purchase around the £6.5k mark with box and papers , from a resale value ? Haven’t seen one for lower then that £ and prices don’t seem to be going down . Thank you .

I have owned a couple of Cartiers and have lost money selling them. So my advice is to never buy a Cartier for investment or resale purposes. Buy them for their looks and try to keep them.
