From the way the game is going, his RM is in danger of being intercepted.

43-13. They could use a few more distractions.

You guys might be surprised. The watch isn’t cracking, the crystal isn’t breaking. He may scratch the crystal- that’s ABOUT it.

These things are way more durable than you think and why I like them. Those who have owned, can comment appropriately.

Great publicity for RM. Think maybe that is what they wanted and asked him to wear the watch in a game? Great marketing as long as it doesn't break!

OBJ should have started an “Is it safe?” thread first before wearing it in a game.

I guess I’m the only one surprised that you’re allowed to wear a watch while playing a contact sport ...

They make my daughter take off her earrings and necklace before she plays soccer

Wonder if he’ll be fined since it’s not part of the uniform code. Unless wearing a watch is allowed.

Earrings and necklace can be snatched off causing harm to your daughter.

Although I am surprised the NFL allowed this. It is probably not in the rulebook saying that you cannot wear a watch because they didn’t think anyone would ever wear a watch. But I’m sure they will probably not allow him to wear it week 2.

Well questions answered. He will get fined. They just said on ESPN’s “Get Up” that he will get fined. They didn’t say how much though.

He'll get a big fine.

He doesn't care, RM probably told him to wear it and they would pay the fine for him. Huge publicity for them, look at all the conversations about it already, exactly what RM wants.

Agreed. This has done exactly what they wanted - get on some publicity radar and get the name out there. Can't imagine if it took the business end of a helmet hit....

How would he end up scratching but not shattering the sapphire crystal? Unless some other players are wearing some diamond encrusted watches of course!
