Help with Day-Date dial ID

Hello all, help please with this dial. I inherited a Ref. 18038 with MOP dial, and it is possible that the MOP dial was added to replace this one. Is this dial correct for 18038? (Note that the back doesn't have feet.)

Also, it is fair to say that it is an original dial, not refinished?

Thanks in advance for any input.

No, the pictured dial will not fit a 18038.
That dial is for an 1803.
It also looks like a refinished dial IMO.
The dial you need will have feet to fit the 3055 or 3155 movement.

No worries, I’m more of an enthusiast that happens to enjoy vintage pieces.
And vintage DayDates are a whole lot of fun and second to no other IMO.
Just remember we all can have opinions, but the only one that really matters is yours.
Enjoy the hunt!

Yep. That’s an older pie pan style, which actually “snapped on” to the movement (if that makes sense…I can’t recall the correct terminology).
