Some funds coming.... Ginza Forged Carbon vs 5726
i post the question here because i've been looking for my 2nd AP watch for a while (after purchased 15300). and decided to get AP ROO Ginza Forged Carbon when i have enough funds (even i haven't had a chance to try it on yet) . So now it's time . but stopped by PP local AD this morning and tried on a 5726 on the bracelet and felt in love right away . Never liked PP before because "geneve" letters on the dial . But the weight, the finish, and the dial are everything i need and love. So it changed my mind . But i do love to own my first too forged carbon case as well .......So money is issue , please help to pick one.
Ginza Forged Carbon or 5726.

Ginza! Patek 5726, you can always look at when your next funds are available... it's not limited and should be around. Ginza is limited and by looking at the watch brands you have on our profile thingy, Ginza should be more of your "thing", n that watch just looks awesome...
We can be kinda bias too since this is the AP forum! |

Different watches. Do you want a larger watch or a thinner dressier watch?
Not knowing your collection it's hard to say. However if it were just a straight which watch, 5726 all day. Now if you would have said 44mm FC, now I'd flip to AP. |

I like the 5726 over the Ginza, but like AP more than PP.
I'd say take your time with the decision. Maybe explore another FC AP? |

Both are great watches, but Ginza FC is rarer.
Sporty or dressy, you decide! Or maybe get a FC Diver AND a 5711? |

Hmm, tough one. Unfortunately, best move would be to try them both on somehow, but difficult with the Ginza.
Personally, I like the Ginza, but wouldn't be my first choice for a FC. The 5726 may be my first choice for a PP. |

Let just think that this gonna be my 2nd AP ( but my 1st ROO). This gonna be 1st PP ( but not 1st Stainless steel watch). And Just which one will you buy 1st between those 2?

5726
I prefer AP as a brand over Patek but the 5726 has really captured my attention. I'm looking at making my next purchase towards the end of the year and right now its between the Ti Schumi and 5726. As much as I love AP I think the 5726 will be my first step into the world of Patek. Plus I think the 5726 is more timeless and I for one like APs with tappeserie dials. |

2 totally different watches... personally, I would take the PP, love the design and the whole annual calendar with moon phase. If the case was a cpl MM larger, I would get one.
And like Paul mentioned, if it were a 44mm FC, that'd be my choice over the PP. |

FC 44mm is big for my 6.5 inches wrist. i think 42mm will fit better due to the weight of Forged Carbon also. Just curious how hard to get Ginza compare to 5726???

Well first of all.. Its one stunning reference that you don't see everywhere.
Then also the fact it's LE and this reference will always holds it's value. The PP is a very nice watch but can be got whenever. + I'm a HUGE fan of AP

i'm pretty sure that i can not put on a ROO 44mm as same as i can not go with a pam 47mm at all. since i'm only 5'6" and 135lbs, ring size is 5.5....... girly wrist with flat bones.... for examples:
Never had a chance to try on a ROO 44mm, but here's pam 47mm: RO 39mm: And i did tried on a SS Diver 42mm from one of my friend, and it looks find and comfortable, but not as much as RO 15300.

And also can some one please tell me the retail price of Ginza? i googled it but could not find the correct one. i have a few friends who are living in Tokyo now, they can hook me up for one. but i wanna know about the price first. And can you get small discount on it same as you can do for ROO regular productions? or it's hard since it's LE from boutiques only?
