1935 Ref 2940
Hi Vintage People,
I'll be picking up a watch (head, no strap) It has a 2940 stamp inside the caseback, looks like a repainted dial to California, but too early for California. The movement serial number search led me to believe 1935, only the second year perpetuals were available. I'm sure the second hand is also a replacement. I would like to ask if early movement matches the 2940 case? Something seems off to me. Appreciate the help....and thanks for posting interesting threads. |

A humbling thank you.
Which leads me to ask......How long has the fake industry been running? Good grief:) I suppose if a watch cost $100 back then, that was reason enough to make one for $5. Thanks Andrew |
