This Swiss only dial looks interesting, is this dial rare?

The hand looks corroded/rusty, the dial looks corroded/rusty, most of, but not all, the indices are corroded/rusty. It’s a mess.
Why do people even consider buying something so obviously damaged?

In this day and age the dial probably have a branded name already like “toasted tropical” or similar : )
