Hands so white?
Hi I’m interested in an 18238 only it looks to me that the hands are so white??
The watch is from 1992 could it be that the hands are not the original ones. |

The lume on the hands do appear much brighter than the lume plot at one o’clock in the dial despite being in the same light. So it may be the hands were replaced.

Could be the lighting. Look at the 4 o’clock hour dot. It’s pretty close to the hands. As long as the hands are tritium, it wouldn’t bug me, assuming you like the rest of the watch. Also, dial/hands tritium can age differently, of course, so who knows.
