New member, no history!
Hello watch community!
I have been reading through this forum for over 4 years. Finally realized I could just join and contribute. This forum has been immensely helpful in building my small collection and shaping my opinions on what is what. I am an absolute watch fanatic, and could chop it up on here all day. Thank you to everyone for sharing your experience and knowledge. I’m sure in the future I might be a buyer or seller (from and for my collection). My question is, how do you build rapport with folks on here if you really don’t have any sales or buys that people can lean on? I understand becoming a pledge member is exhibit A, but I’ve also seen posts of pledge members conducting themselves not so admirably. Everyone on here that has transacted has been in my shoes, so what do you suggest and what was your experience as a newbie? 16613 Bluesy 16570 Polar 114060 ND |

Welcome! You start by contributing on the forum discussions and eventually people will get to know you. You indeed need to be pledge member in order to sell on the forum, it helps to have positive transactions elsewhere (like

Become active across the boards. Contribute pictures, experiences, etc. Go to local meet-ups (they are posted on the boards). I'm also still building my credibility too. Harder to do when there aren't many members in my neck of the woods, but i keep slugging away. |
