For sale is a pre-owned excellent vintage condition 35.5mm 18 karat yellow gold Patek Phillipe Calatrava. The circa 1953 reference 2526 sale is for watch only, no box or paperwork. The 2526 is one of the first, if not the first model to feature the caliber 12-600 AT, Patek Phillipe’s first self-winding movement. The watch features a beautiful white enamel dial, a material chosen deliberately to stand up to the ravages of time. Objectively, that decision proved successful as the dial on this example is near mint. The dial also features applied indices, small seconds and dauphine hands. It should be noted that this is a first series with the hour markers set into the dial. There are what appear to be tweezer marks on the indices under magnification, all very minor. The case appears as though it may have had a polish or two over the years but remains strong and shows light of wear throughout as one would expect. The case back is engraved HMR- whomever gifted the watch certainly had impeccable taste! The watch is mounted to a new OEM glossy black alligator strap with an 18k yellow gold Patek tang buckle.

Shall deliver with 15 month in house warranty on the movement for $44,500 plus applicable state sales tax where required.
