Possible to ignore entire sub-forums?

Often times, I'll click on "New Posts" and a whole lot of the new posts are bumped classifieds. Not a big deal, just kind of annoying. Especially when there are like 10 in a row. Is it possible for a user to block/ hide the Classifieds section from popping up under New Posts? Or even block/ hide completely?

I don't know if that's possible, but I don't have the same problem because I never click on 'new posts'. I open TRF main page and go straight to subforums I like. First I click on 'Open Discussion', then 'Omega Subforum', 'Rolex General Disscussion' and so on. New posts are obviously on the first threads on the page I've chosen and I go from there, so I never need to look at watches for sale or anything like that. Maybe you could try that way but it's just a suggestion.

Looks like that’s how we’re gonna roll. I’ll just have to be a little more incognito at the office.
