Stolen Rolex - Any Suggestions?
Hey all,
I recently lost my Daytona while surfing at Surfrider Beach in Malibu CA. I fell off my board and smashed into a rock. When I recovered my Rolex was gone. I've spent the last 4 days combing the beach, diving in the area wish mask and snorkel, hiring metal detectors, incentivizing locals with rewards, filing police reports, listing the loss on The Watch Register, and calling pawn shops/watch shops. I got a call yesterday notifying me that someone had retrieved my Daytona and decided not to turn it into lifeguards or police. Any further ideas on what to do? Thanks in advance for any help. Looking forward to the criticism for wearing a Rolex Daytona surfing. It never comes off my wrist. |

With the police report, you should be able to notify Rolex who will put it into their system if it comes in for service.

You can only hope that the watch was damaged and will be going to Rolex for service.
Do as Larry said ASAP ("right now!) and perhaps a miracle will occur to get it returned to you. Fingers crossed for you.
