One more acquired…..never thought I’d own a Yacht Master

One more I thought I wouldn’t have interest in….what do you know…it fits my lifestyle, attire, etc….perfectly. Had to see it on my wrist first.
I’ve liked the WG / YG oysterflex daytonas I’ve owned, but this fits just a bit better all around.

-Like the size better (been wearing 42mm + lately)
-love the color/texture change up of the bezel, vs the other shiny ceramic bezels.
-really like the dial/bezel combo that contrasts no nicely against the WG case, then back to the matching OF bracelet
-my favorite complication to have…the date

Has been described as looking sinister , I agree.

Also…has been described as a for sure FU watch.
Well in normal thinking of an FU watch, I’d think immediately of YG Sub, Skydweller, etc….
But the other side described as an FU watch is…wearing a $25K + watch, that can be mistaken (and most like will be) for a $100 dive watch on rubber band, because you like it.
That definition makes sense to me as well.
I’ve always said it….WG or PT is for the enjoyment, pride of ownership, of the wearer.
Have a good upcoming weekend all !

Nice!... do you notice it being a bit thinner compare to other models while wearing it or not so much? I was always curious about this one, being thinner than a daytona, but with the 42mm side. Seems neat

Enjoy it!

I like the definition you have of the FU watch. Wearing a great 25k watch while others think it’s $100 definitely fits me well too. Been thinking about adding.

Thank you. It wears thickness wise, about like the ExpII, except the OF makes it seem thicker because the bracelet stands off the wrist a bit.

Thank you guys! I really didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do. I really realized it when I put it my wrist, wearing my everyday attire…jeans/T-shirt. It just fits.
Sometimes you just have to see it all together first.

I think this will be my next watch Lord willing!
How does it fit compared to the new sub 41mm? I too have been liking a bigger watch lately, does this seem to wear big?

You went for it!!! Must have been a nice drive there and even better coming back. I don't get the attitude toward Yacht-Masters; I just really find them attractive and less mundane than the herd follower Rolex watches!!! I've been a real fan of that particular model and almost swapped the Platona towards that and a Patek (if you recall).

Wears just like the ExpII. Very comfortable on the oysterflex. A bit bigger than the sub.

I remember, and if you ever did that move, I wouldn’t fault you. I have one of each that I really enjoy every bit as much as a PT Daytona.

I tried one on a couple of weeks ago and liked it but didn't really want to spend that much. I'm beginning to reconsider that decision. It looks fantastic! Enjoy!!

Looks awesome!! This IS the one PM piece that I would consider. Congratulations!!

I do wish I could get just a generic Everest or Rubber B for everyday use...with a tang buckle. I would go through that rubber pretty quickly.
