Rolex v. Tudor marketing

While this article has more of a "celeb watch pics" overlay, the two paragraphs on David Beckham I think best encapsulate the distinctions between Rolex and Tudor in regard to their respective marketing strategies. Simply put: Tudor skews younger/hipper. Not exactly a newsflash, although to read Beckham quoted as to how Tudor feels about his tattoos, bolsters Tudor's strategy. There's a link to a Hodinkee piece within the GQ article that affirms the same.
