It‘s probably been said, already, but 70 hours power reserve, non- magnetic silicon balance spring and 200m water resistance? That‘s all pretty good stuff

Any word on thickness? Perchance a miracle it’s under 13mm and not the 14.8mm thick or more monster that the Black Bay is now?

I really love it on the fabric strap. Great casual watch for when I don’t want to wear my sub. Was hoping to get one of the new rolexes but this might be the winner.

Yes, sometimes I can't believe myself saying things like 'oh, it is only $5k for a two tone Tudor'... or 'paid only MSRP for a ceramic Daytona?'

Agree. And your gif..

Yeah—this is what I want to know. Would be great if under 13mm thickness

I want to trade my Black Bay Blue for this now. Appears slimmer than the 79230, adds date and GMT, and rocks the vintage Pepsi look? Checks some pretty big boxes.

Agree with you 100%. All looks good but the bezel doesn’t do it for me.

I like it but don't love it. For me when I see a red/blue GMT bezel if it isn't a Rolex I dislike them. Tudor did this pretty well although I don't really care for the snowflake GMT hand.

I would of rather seen them do a black/red version.

Now I'm going to wait till they make BB GMT 39mm (or BB GMT Fifty-Eight). That will be perfect...

I can't believe I think that. Six years ago it took a herculean mental effort to get from thinking a Seamaster 300 was pricey at $3000 to actually buying a Sub for over $7000.

It is the first Tudor I wanna buy.

Why?

Because, imo it looks closer to the vintage Rolex pepsi than the newly released jubile model. And the old one is the one I dig.
Also, there is a 5k price difference....not to be ignored.

I wanted the new Rolex ss pepsi on an oyster bracelet not jubilee.

I really hope the Tudor GMT isn’t overly thick. That would be an unfortunate deal breaker.

Tudors can generally be bought for a substantial discount. Even the ballyhooed Pelagos LHD is at a 25% discount from a trusted seller (and oddly enough, less than a blue Pelagos).

So, I wonder if prospective buyers should get on a list and by the Tudor GMT at MSRP, or if it will be possible to get one at a discount?

I wouldn’t be too sure. Let’s wait until it hits the stores, but based on the feedback in the forum, it might become a pretty sought after piece. I’d be happy for the folks at Tudor, if that was the case. They did a great job this year.

How thick is this thing?

The movement is thicker than the 5602 so I’m thinking my first impression that this case is slimmer was wrong. Can’t find it published anywhere.

I already know that it won’t fit my wrist with the Tudor bracelet so for a ton of fun I’ll probably get the leather strap version and a Strapcode Super jubilee lol.

Looks like it does based on the online user guide...set 24 first, then skip hours just like the 3185/3186

What's wrong with the bracelet (for smaller wrists)?

I want a rolex but I can't justify it. So I buy a watch which has the same trademarks, but costs an half. This is what this watch means.
And I'm talking not as a super rich, but as a guy who saved money for 5 years to buy his watch.
