Why is this even a question. Platinum DayDate > sports models, all day every day.

I can’t imagine not wearing either SS reference but they are your watches to do with as you please.

The trade sounds reasonable and given you own a 5717, I can see why you might be inclined ...

If you’re certain about not wanting either, I’d do the trade.
