Question about 14060 clasp.

I saw on a YouTube review about the 14060.
The gentleman made a comment about how compared to the 16610 clasp that the 14060 clasp would lift up from the bracelet in an odd way. I do see that from the underside of both of them there is a difference. Anyone own both or in general have knowledge of the 14060 clasp being less functional than the 16610? Would that make the 14060 less attractive to purchase?

Does it make it less attractive to you? That’s all that matters. I chose the 14060m. I dislike the bracelet in general and wear it strictly on NATOs.

It’s all subjective.

I have the 14060M

Not quite sure what you mean, but in a fight my clasp was caught and pulled up from the wrong end when I was kicked... The blades just got bent and needed to be bent back onto shape.

Saw a nice late series 14060 for sale and was contemplating.

Both the 16610 and the 14060 used the same bracelets and clasp for many years, until the 16610 got the 93250 SEL bracelet.

The 93250 is different, and uses a j-slotted link inside the clasp to anchor it, rather than the extra links and extension simply snugged inside as it is with the 93150.

It is not "less functional", or "less attractive", it's just a different bracelet that was only used on the Sub Date for it's last few years. They are different watches, get the one you want

Interesting post.
You often get involved in fights? It all seems so natural to you..
