rose gold or yellow gold ladies DJ?

I will be getting my first rolex for my birthday this week and am trying to decide on dial and gold. so far I have decided on the following:

Oyster, 31 mm, fluted bezel, dial with diamonds

what I cant decide on is if it should be steel and ever rose gold or steel and yellow gold - I have a lot of rose gold already but I generally like yellow gold as well. Im just worried rose gold is too trendy and yellow gold is more classic however, when I tried on the yellow gold and steel it just looked so..... yellow.

additionally I am trying to decide on a black dial or silver dial

any input is appreciated

My mom recently got the steel and ever rose gold DJ. I was with her when she purchased and i really thought she would go with the traditional yellow and steel to match with my dad. But to her, she liked the sublteness of the rose gold.

My wife on the other hand (no pun intended), prefers the yellow. She wants the DJ because it's a classic watch so she want to keep it as such. I'll update you when she finally makes the purchase.

My opinion, i like the yellow also because it's the traditional and classic choice. Another reason, to me a daily-worn rose gold looks similar to a worn-out-yellow gold, that's faded and hasn't been polished. Again, that's just my opinion.

Well I personally like the rose gold, in general over yellow. These days, in many countries, rose gold seems to be more fashionable, or more sort out than the yellow. However you really need to take a close look yourself, and rest assured, one will stand out over another. Which will help you decide much easier than anyone on here trying to convince you.

Black dials can be worn with a larger selection of other colours. Silver will stand out more with white clothes.

Too yellow as you stated, come to think of it, can look a bit too showy. The rose gold, imagine wearing that when attending an important function, which I am sure will compliment other rose gold jewellery/accessories.

I am sure you already made your choice by now

My wife prefers rose over yellow and I would have to agree with her, not a fan of anything yellow gold personally and rose gold looks more classy to me - over utilization of yellow gold by un-classy people with money has ruined yellow gold in my book (including covering cars in it)

Rolex makes a beautiful Rosegold. It looks classy and understated compared to YG which is a big plus to me!
