Will we see more 33-36mm neo-vintage watches?
Am I the only one going to see more of the neo-vintage set in this, more “original,” size range? I’ve seen all these cool releases the last few years that come in “smaller” sizes, which today is 38-39mm… and there is always commentary like: “the original was 33.5mm, which would be wayyyyy too tiny today!”
A few that come to mind include all of the Hamilton Field watches, the Longines Heritage collection, some Tissot pieces, Omega Seamaster/Railmaster lines, even the Timex automatics. So, think we’ll see more soon? Or will I be looking at pieces designated “women’s watches” for the foreseeable future? |

I don’t see 35,34,33 for men any time soon. Rolex is releasing men’s 36mm watches with quite a success. There is also the timex marlin at 34mm. |

Marlin is a cool looking watch, as is the manually winding MK1, but reading the reviews on timex.com it sounds like there are A LOT of reliability and timekeeping issues. I get that this should be expected of a sub-$200 watch, but when others, like Hamilton and Tissot, start only a few hundred higher, it gives me pause. |
