Omega Tokyo Blue Seamaster
Hi all
Looking for a quick take on the Omega Tokyo Blue Bezel White face Seamaster https://www.omegawatches.com/en-gb/w...52230422004001 I have been almost exclusively Rolex the last few years and looking to broaden my collection and not have to deal with the silly dance we need to to get the model we want at retail for Rolex. I like the look of this one, I don't have a white face watch and the combination of the blue and white is very appealing to me. Omega seem to have a lot of limited editions and this seems like a limited production piece - how collectible is this within the WIS Omega group and has anyone bought it or tried it on with an opinion? I can imagine it looking brilliant on a white and blue nato. Alternatively as its my first foray in to Omega for a good few years should I look at the new speedmasters? Thanks for reading and chatting watches. |

I tried it but finally didn't buy it. Very legible, fits well on the wrist (18.5 cm).

^^^ I would say that 9 out of 10 people won't able to distinguish the blue bezel from the black version. From far away, it will look black anyways. Not worth the hassle to look for one at a premium price without discount. Just my .02

I have the white/black bezel but I dont think you can go wrong with either. A nice alternative to the usually more traditional Rolex.

I tried both at the boutique and black was much better in my opinion. Much more pop due to contrast.

For me blue has the edge, black/white is becoming like the black sub, everyone and their nephew owns one.

Purchased this watch a few days ago. Last one in my country. It took a bit of chasing to get one, as many sales staff couldn’t be bothered helping me, once it was discontinued by Omega. But I would have eventually found one I’m sure.
I absolutely love it. I love how it flies under the radar compared to my Rolex’s. Also being blue bezel, the colour changes with light and looks black at times. So most people will think it’s black from afar. What surprised me is the bracelet. When Omega released this new line of SM300m in 2018, I absolutely hated the bracelet due to the sharpness. But once I got it sized and with all shrink wrap removed it felt much more natural. |
