So Omega doing what Rolex is undoing.

Good to see Omega paying homage to the organic patina effect while Rolex RSCs has been busy destroying the value of their own vintage dials by replacing them.
Bravo Omega.

Fauxtina? I don't mind it but...another puff piece by Watchfinder. I love vintage Omega, hugely undervalued and as good as Rolex, but that was 8 wasted minutes. And actually Rolex is increasing the value of its vintage dials by replacing them. The fewer there are, the higher their value.

Big O's 210.90.42.20.01.001 is successful... nothing else is IMHO.

maybe a couple of the Blancpain drivers are acceptable also.

Hope that's not a serious comment. If it is, why even bother coming to Omega forum?

Wow that is a beautiful Seamaster. I personally don't mind the fauxtina effect, they nailed it on the Trilogy set from 2017 (specifically on the Speedmaster) as well IMO. I would take that 007 over my Trilogy Seamaster any day though.

I was able to try one on a few days ago at a local AD.

Great piece, and I appreciate the fact it was possible for me to even view in person.

I tried on 3 Seamasters at my AD about 2 weeks ago:

1. Titanium 300M 007
2. Bronze Gold 300
3. Sedna Gold/SS Diver 300M 42mm (not chronograph)

My original intention was the 007, but I liked Sedna/SS 300M most and took it home for my everyday wearer. They only had the rubber strap model, so I ordered the Sedna/SS bracelet separately.

You really have see, feel and wear watches in person and try them on before deciding.
