15500 accuracy

Hi, for those of you that wear your 15500 daily, how well does it keep time per day?
I can’t really find any recent documentation from AP of how many seconds lost or gained a day is acceptable.

I’m not checking precisely, but I’d say it is spot on. It has to be within a couple of seconds per day max. I have not had to correct the time after a month or more. I haven’t worn much longer than that due to my rotation.

My 15500 is wildly accurate. It gains less then a second per day. It's by far the most accurate watch I've owned.

Interesting. Was it always like that or did you have to “break it in”? Also, what position do you place it overnight?

My 15500 has been that accurate from the moment the AP sales rep opened the factory-sealed box and wound, set, and handed the watch to me. FYI, I'm a bit obsessive about my watches being accurate: when I put the day's watch on in the morning, I typically set it to the second. But I've worn my 15500 for days without needing to re-set the second hand.

I store my watches face up, either in a case or on a little watch stand.

Oh wow, that’s great. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all. Did a lil reasearch and looks like accuracy on the 15500st varies from +1 up to +10 based on diff folks feedback. Mine was doing +7 a day face up but got dead on or +1 crown up.

+6.5 daily. Combination of being worn for a few hours and stored overnight either CU or CD. Have not tested for dial up/down though.
