3572.50 Low light shot

I’ve owned this for over a year now and I just love it.
For me it’s the best of both worlds. Hesalite front, sapphire back.
And as much as I love a bracelet, I love this one on a strap.
I was admiring the movement this morning and caught a cool shot w my iPhone so I figured I’d share. Feel free to do so too, if you have one :)

Great image. Have you edited at all. The multitude settings are incredible on iPhone.

The shadows and lighting are all pretty much the way it was.
All I did was sharpen the image so the movement was a bit more crisp.
Honestly I just got lucky lol. I was literally sitting on the floor of my closet in pitch black darkness with a small single AA battery flashlight in candle mode on low setting pointing towards a white board (which reflects as well as diffuses the light) and I was looking at my speedy and thought “Wow this looks cool, I wonder how it would show up in a pic” and this was the result.

That's really awesome. And the way it evolved. Glad you thought to take the picture and really glad you shared it with us.

It's truly a great photo, one for the books! I would have that enlarged to a small poster size. Frame it and hang that one in my man cave.

My favorite regular production speedy for sure. Sadly when it came time for me to buy a Speedy they no longer produced this model. The hesalite crystal gives the warmth and the display case back is lovely. I actually have a Thomas Preik caseback for my speedy (the regular 1861 movement) but never found anyone I trusted enough to install it for me.

As far as them no longer being produced at the time I was in the market for one, I too was late to the party so I ended up buying preowned but was able to find one full set, amazing condition before the price hike. I just don’t really like the way the sapphire looks on sapphire sandwich versions. The new Ed White however, totally different story imo. Don’t get me wrong, I love the benefits of sapphire but there’s just something about the hesalite dome shape and distortion at certain angles that just does it for me. I don’t have personal experience with a Thomas Preik, but they seem great. When you get it installed, do share

I would like to see the watch’s dial and what strap you have it on.

Sorry for the late reply but here you go! I really enjoy this one on leather. I much prefer it to the bracelet that came w it. In the pic is an oem strap with deployant. Obviously I’ve put some wear on it but I like the more it gets worn in actually.
