Snoopy on bracelet?
Hey all,
So I've got a call back in May from my OB, and my Snoopy has arrived. I had a 2021 Speedmaster before that which had the bracelet, but as having multiple Rolexes or my Overseas, all with micro adjustable clasp, I couldn't stand using it and so decided to let it go. I want to put the Snoopy on bracelet as the OEM strap just too stiff, got the white Nasa strap as well, but little toy-ish looking (still a keeper!) and no chance that I'd sell the Snoopy just because of the strap! I was roaming around the net and I can see someone fitted the new Speedy's bracelet on the Snoopy and made me thinking, why I wouldn't be able to do it with some older Speedy's bracelet with adjustable clasp? I spotted that all the Tokyo 2020 Speedy's are on that bracelet that I'd want (I think it is adjustable?), but my AD says, those are 21mm's. Thats not what on Omega's site so unsure if OB is right or wrong... Anyone managed to fit a bracelet on Snoopy, with adjustable clasp and if so, which bracelet exactly? The references for the Tokyo 2020 models are: 522.30.42.30.03.001 - Steel/Blue 522.20.42.30.01.001 - Steel-and-Gold/Black 522.30.42.30.04.001 - Steel/Panda 522.20.42.30.06.001 - Steel-and-Gold/Green 522.30.42.30.06.001 - Steel/Red |

Congratulations. Very much so especially getting it in the U.K. I know there was a thread in one of the omega forums about this. The bracelet job looked very much like the Ed white bracelet (brushed look). Though that is listed as 19 whereas snoopy I believe is 20. I am hoping someone more knowledgeable or having done similar can chip in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Signed up for it in December 2020 so about 5-6 months. Wasn't really expecting it to get it to be honest as only bought few watches from them (nothing fancy, just like a steel Speedy and Seamasters), definitely not this quick. That AD has over 500 people waiting currently so I consider myself extremely lucky!

Almost all of the pictures I've seen that had the Snoopy 50 on a bracelet were using the 3861 bracelets. I've seen maybe 1 or 2 times with someone using the Apollo 11 50th flat link but like Stevec14 mentioned, there was some modification needed of the bracelet/endlink/springbars. The 3861 can fit right on without needing anything modified.

Congrats for your Snoopy.
I'm almost sure 1861 will fit, but 3861 bracelet looks much better in my opinion. Apollo 11 50th anniversary end link won't fit without hard tooling, or using aftermarket end links instead. Here's mine |

I think it's aces on a bracelet. Another thing that's nice about the 3861 bracelet is that it no longer has flanks, meaning when you take the cloth strap off the snoops and put the new bracelet on, it won't scratch the brushed finish of the lugs with normal wear whereas previous speedy 1861 bracelets would have.

Funny... what a coincidence ! This morning I was thinking exactly about it. If I owned either the 45th or 50th Snoopy Silver Award Anniversary, how I would also like to have it on the new 3861 bracelets ! It looks very nice and fitting. !
Congrats on yours !! Hopefully you will change the straps to bracelets and post some pictures !

Congratulations on your new Snoopy! I went with the 3861 non-polished bracelet.

Congratulations on your Snoopy, I think they look good on a bracelet.
Hopefully I’ll have one before too long. |

For those that put the 3861 bracelet on... do they scratch the mirror finish on the case (in between the lugs)?

Can anyone comment on what a 3861 bracelet costs?

I like the watch but the color/brushing on the bracelet doesn't seem to match well with the watch casing but that could be just the poor lighting.

Nice!! Looks great on the 50th anniversary. The black strap, on the 45th seems to work much better than the blue strap on the 50th!!!

Where did you see it for $680? That’s not bad at all!
