How tight/loose is your bracelet
Greetings from a new member. How tight/loose do you typically adjust your bracelets on your Rolex's?
I don't like to wear mine loose, where as my wife likes her DJ fairly snug... Thanks |

not too loose. hard to get index finger in between the wrist and bracelet but pinky goes in easy.

Since 1982 I have worn all my bracelets loose.....It's great in the summer as it does not stick and swell to my wrist.
No problem with bracelet stretch whatsoever. I think this is due to being loose if the bracelet was tight and you lifted say a heavier object i think over time you would see more stretch. Just my opinion

Don't like it moving around or dropping down on my wrist so I keep it snug. As long as it doesn't clamp a vain or feel restricting it's fine for me.
Personal taste of course, but a few old timers assert that a loose fitting bracelet will likely "stretch" sooner too. |

If the official best way to wear it is tight...or...loose, but it makes you feel uncomfortable, would you still wear it that way? Play around with the micro adjustments and settle on what feels best without worrying about bracelet stretch or anything else.

One pinky snugly between clasp and wrist. I don't know if that is tight or loose. Any tighter and it binds late in the day, after workouts, and after drinking beer.
I also think it looks a bit more elegant with some movement. Leather straps, snug without movement. I just went through the same thing. Give a few weeks and you will know what is right for you. There is no right. |

When I first aquired my sub, it was extremely loose, and drove me nuts. Was originally on the last hole (largest setting) on the divers extension. I used a pin and brought it in 2 holes and now it fits ok, though sometimes it seems very tight, and other times it seems very loose. I've seriously thought about getting a NATO for it...

I wear mine so that I can stick my pinky finger underneath the bracelet. It works great for me.

I never wear it loose. I don't like it that way. I can't really remember how tight is because today i'm wearing a Storm...(heh, heh...)

I have used my Daytona now for 3 days only. The setting which the shop made for me seems a bit loose. I adjustet the pin in the clasp by one step (about 2mm) tighter, but now it feels to tight. Never thought that this small adjustment would make such a big difference. Is there something wrong with my arm or have other people experienced the same?

Unknowingly clever or just plain lucky?
I got my Sub as an anniversary gift in early July and it was very loose. The next day I took it to the jeweler for sizing and because it was nice and not too humid (for July) on the drive I turned the air off and rolled the windows down. They removed one link and I found the fit better but fairly snug. Later that evening while sitting in a very cool restaurant for dinner my watch magically “grew” in size and while not too loose was no longer as snug.
Point being that had I driven to the jeweler with my car AC on “Arctic” where I usually have it they would have adjusted the watch to fit a much smaller than “normal” arm so I, inadvertently, did the right thing by riding to the jeweler with the windows down and arriving with my arm at a less climate altered size. Just as they say too not buy shoes first thing in the morning I guess they should also say to gauge proper watch fit on a “room temperature” arm. |

That sounds good Ranger, but how tight do you like your bracelet.
