scratches on cyclops

i have some small scratches on the cyclops of my sapphire crystal. is the cyclops on a rolex crystal not made of sapphire?

If your Rolex is a six-digit, I believe the cyclops has an anti-reflective coating, which can scratch much more easily than the sapphire. That might be what you're seeing.

I can assure you that sapphire scratches also. If they are really shallow, they may be able to be removed with diamond paste.

It’s a 16700. It was serviced by Rolex Canada last year with new crystal. It’s kinda hard to tell if it’s the inside ar or the outside surface scratches

I thought I read somewhere that the Cyclops wasn't sapphire?
