absolutely awesome piece!
I've always said, a reverso belongs in every decent collection... it's a perennial classic.

JLC are just so classic and honest. Love it. Great work. I’ll be there some day.

I am so not a square/rectangle dial fan at all...But... I actually tried on this very same medium classic while waiting at a London airport. It was so, so good on the wrist, it's now on my shortlist of future purchases. I tried it on with the black strap, they didn't have the brown on display, but I think I would prefer the brown, and get the black later... from photos, it does seem to change the vibe of the watch depending on black or brown strap.

What a nice looking watch, congrats!

thanks! I'd only add it's not just the color but the material of the straps that changes the vibe up IMO. the alligator used in the original black and the green I have is super thin and a bit stiffer, so keeps the watch closer to the wrist and feels a lot more formal. the brown CF strap is a bit chunkier and gives the watch a totally different feel. almost like a more subtle bund type deal.

Congratulations! Is it the medium or the large version? The current steel Duo is definitely one of my favorite watches of all time. The quickchange straps are very convenient and changing the strap can really change the character of the watch. I wouldn't have thought to put it on green alligator (black, brown, or navy would be the most obvious choices) but I think it looks great. Although I have mine on brown alligator, if I didn't have a lot of watches, I would be tempted to invest in at least a few JLC quickchange straps and stainless steel pin buckles.

medium! I’ve always been partial to green straps. to my eye they look good with basically any watch.
