In complete agreement. Have a friend who is starting out now and is getting frustrated at the fact there are no SS pieces around.

Glad you are content with your collection. It is mighty impressive.

It seems that the majority of black faced subs have white font but am I mistaken or have I seen gold font on some that were not black/diamond models?

Yes modern gold subs have gold fonts only on the blue yg models. Wg blue and yg black dial models have white fonts. Except for the diamond dial version black dial has gold fonts.

Unlike the older 16618 models which both black and blue dials have gold fonts.

I almost wish I didn’t see this thread. I’ve been thinking seriously of adding a PM piece to my collection and it will be a Sub. I was set on the Blue until I saw a couple of these N pieces...gorgeous!!
I currently own a 16613LB and love it. The fact that I have a blue in my collection plays no part in my decision as I also have black faced watches and I feel a PM stands on it’s own...decisions decisions...

How often do you PM Sub guys wear yours? I'm thinking about what next now after the Pepsi, and am considering skipping the SS models and waiting to go big game hunting with a PM Sub, but not sure how often I'd truly wear it. Weekends.. maybe?

I have the WG Sub and it's part of a regular rotation. You would not regret the PM. It has a whole different feel for sure. Even the WG has a much warmer look than the SS and I have the Sub 114060 also.

Regular rotation. This was my first PM and it has tainted me. I have no desire for SS from any watch maker anymore.

I wear mine about once a week or so, as I never intended it to be a daily wear piece.
