Back to Glashutte

Will be doing a review soon after getting some wrist time. At the moment I am very happy with my new Glashutte Senator Excellence. So far this beauty is running +1 for the last two weeks. +1! It has not deviated.

Love the chronometer spec, 100 hour power reserve, blued hands and pearlescent dial.

Very cool. I’m thinking about an older Senator.

I am thinking of getting myself a dress watch and will be looking at this fabulous GO (among others) on Friday, I will also be looking at the JLC small seconds and the MUT moon phase.

I want something very simple, the Glashutte Senator Excellence and the JLC Small seconds both tick the boxes. I am unsure how my 6.5" wrist will tale the GO at 40mm but am confident that the slightly smaller JLC might hit the sweet spot.

Lovely, gorgeous dial. Does it not have the usual engraved balance bridge/cock?
