Yes I have seen that. I have been invited to the dial factory in Pforzheim for years but not have the chance to go yet.
I'll try to do that when I got time and made a report from there.

Thanks for sharing. The attention to detail in dial-making is impressive. A video was shared in another thread of the Grand Seiko sun ray dial fabrication. It also outlined the intricate processes involved.

As many watchmakers become vertically integrated by acquiring dial makers, bracelet makers and others, the various skills of those makers could fade with automated robotic processes. Hopefully the intricate limited editions will continue to be handmade for generations to come.
