Honestly that entire watch looks off to me. I'm no expert though.

Could be an aftermarket dial, but there was a blue dial available around 2006 (Z serial number) for the white gold Daytona. Plenty of images online to compare to so I'd say this one is likely legit from the factory.

Sure about that? Wish the photo was better, but doesn't look suspect to be after a quick look...

Actually, no I’m not sure, thanks for asking.

On the iPhone it did look like one. But on a MacBook I can see that the dial appears genuine.

Can’t say that it was available for WG back in Z s/n timeframe without checking dial catalog for that period.

[edit: found the dial]

I checked and found that dial seems to have been introduced in 2017 for the 116509. Also went back to the 2010-2012 catalog and it wasn't there, so I can only guess the dial was added to that Z s/n Daytona after coming out off the factory. Nothing wrong with that, the RSC does this for customers willing to pay for the dial swap as long as the dial is correct for that particular reference.

So I should not have said "aftermarket", but instead "not original"...

Could be a new genuine dial in an older watch, bracelet is accurate for the era as well.
