Looks great Op,
Love being able to see the bracelets on the 34-36mm on my 7in wrist instead of a huge watch head and no bracelet on 41mm upwards but each to there own,,,

See below two other pictures, maybe that will change things.

Looks absolutely perfect in all of your pictures.

Great looking watch, and it wears very well on you.

Personally, I get tired of the usual BS about "its not a MAN size of watch" .... each to their own, if you like it, wear it, everyone has the right to their opinion, but nobody has the right to judge another for a difference of opinion. As for the inference that it detracts from your ability to be a MAN if you wear a small watch .... maybe the detractors are compensating more than they care to admit.

I'll echo the sentiments expressed in this thread that what matters is how the size of the watch compliments your wrist size. I think the 34mm looks good on you, while the sub is trending too large.

That is why women often look ridiculous wearing men's watches -- not so much because of the style or their gender, but rather because it's just way too big for their smaller wrists.

A 110 lb girl would look patently ridiculous wearing a DJ41, but that watch might be the exact right size for the women's Olympic shot put champion.

34mm

Wear whatever you want....no one else really cares anyway, they are too busy worried about themselves to careabout what you wear

Enjoy it as I do mine...

My Dad gave me a 31mm datejust as a graduation present 5 months ago. Initially I was off put by the size and considered it a ladies watch. I even made a thread about it here. I wear it every day on a brown alligator strap and never get tired of looking at it. I'm in my early 20s and if I can enjoy a 31mm datejust then a more seasoned gentleman such as yourself surely can. The way I've come to see it is if someone looks at your watch and actually cares enough to comment on the size is that the kind of person you really want to impress? No one has ever commented about my watch before.

I think men's vs women's watches is mostly nonsense. I would love to get my hands on the 34mm explorer polar white and I am pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong, its technically advertised as a ladies watch and only comes in 34mm with this dial color.

If you like it wear it - enjoy it - be proud of it.

My DJ 31mm:

The watch looks great on you. It’s a perfect size for your wrist and I dare say even fits better than the sub.

Back in the day, military watches were 31-33mm. I don’t think we need to challenge manliness by watch size.

As with anything, your confidence in wearing an accessory is always key to pulling it off.

Great post! Nothing is gender specific these days — and great wrist shot.

I wore a 34mm Airking for years. I thought it small at first as well but it's really a great alternative to have. Looks great on a NATO as well.

As I tell my teens, when you're young, you care what others think about you. When you're middle aged, you don't care, and when you're old, you realize they haven't been thinking about you all along.

Exactly, usually in such cases it just looks gaudy and clunky, as if they're wearing a man's watch. Very trendy in these days of gender blurring, I suppose. My wife isn't petite but her DJ31 looks perfect on her.

Suits you just fine. I guess it depends most on your wrist size / build

If you are happy with it, that's all that matters

Love that green dial!!! Wish it came in a larger size as putting down that amount of cash for a 34mm is a no go. It wouldn't get enough wrist time on my wrist!!!

First time, long time. Picked up my first Rolex last week! I've been eyeballing this green 114200 for a while and after many trials and errors with larger watches on my 6" wrist, I finally conceded and went with a 34mm. Couldn't be happier.

(For whatever reason I can't post pics?)

I agree with this. Reason I couldn't pull off my Daytona - had to let it go after 2 years of trying to make it work on my wrist. I still wear my OP31 a plenty.

The 34mm looks good on your wrist!

And cheers, from a fellow drummer. That looks like a Pearl Free Floater cage, with a custom shell? Love those free floaters; super easy to swap shells, and no need for tone-sapping lug hardware holes in the shell.

That 34mm does fit your wrist quite well!

And cheers from a fellow drummer. Gotta love that Pearl Free Floater technology ... looks like you have a custom shell installed?
