Incoming. 2 years in the making.
I started my watch journey in May of ‘17 with the purchase of my Z Blue. I have worn it every day up until March of ‘18 when I bought my YM Rhodium. I still west my Milgauss daily but the YM is my outing and weekend watch.
I have love the Everose YM from the moment I saw it but I could never see myself in a position to buy one, nor have the stones to actually pull the trigger on one. I stop into my AD often to look and lust over the 116655. A few months ago it was sold. I have been saving every penny with the goal of trying to get to one, again not knowing if I could actually go through with it when the time was right. I work full time and also have a lucrative side business, and a steady eBay business. Fast forward to last Saturday. I went to the AD, to my surprise they has just received another YM a few days earlier and it was in the case. I had a good conversation with the SA, talking about price and delivery. I talked with my close friend (wis) about my options. I went back to the AD on Monday to discuss it further. We came to an amicable agreement that was too good to pass up in the current Rolex climate. I had to put a few financial adjustments in place to be able to buy. I returned a few days later and did the deal. I don’t have it in my possession just yet as I’m waiting for a strap change that the AD has ordered from RSC. I feel very fortunate that I have the ability to have acquired 3 watches that I love in less than 2 years. Here it is. My grail 116655. Just a few quick shots done at the AD.
